I do my best to be a good listener and writer. I have a Master Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and over a decade of experience in nonprofit management, development and grant writing. I have written successful proposals to over one hundred different funders, totaling well over 300 grants. My nonprofit management strengths are: grant writing, researching and planning, and the development of consistent external messaging.

In 1998 while working as a police sergeant I had the opportunity to direct a local police affiliated charity. The position was fundamentally being an Executive Director. Having no formal training for the responsibilities, I returned to college to complete a Master of Public Administration focused on nonprofit management. Over the past 20 years I have worked as an Executive Director, Development Director and served on nonprofit boards. My strengths include; strategic and financial planning, nonprofit formation, executive mentorship, training and board development.
